I found a lot of the links on the Craftzine blog, although once you're on an artist's website it's fun to follow the links they recommend, too. Some of the best (for a variety of reasons!) were:
- Weird chocolate from Japan on PingMag
- A tutorial from Skinny laMinx on her amazing papercuts (click the gallery button, too)
- Photos of the winning entries in last year's Washington Tribune Peeps Diorama contest
- SockPixie's stashbusting Munchkin Slippers pattern
- The slightly unnerving work of Diem Chau (check out her crayon sculptures in 'Past Work', too)
- Party dresses made of balloons (yes, you read that right...)
- A Flickr set from the woman whose job it is to create kid-friendly craft projects for the official LucasArts Star Wars site. How cool a job is that.....
Tigger says, "I'm very artistic too, you know. I create poses."

Hi Heather,
Lovely blog! I've followd all the links - brilliant. There are some very strange things going on in this world!
Vicki
The papercuts are amazing! I like the balloon dresses, shame there's nowhere around her to wear one!
Er, when I typed "around her" I did , of course mean "around here"! There are, obviously, many blloons around her...
All I kept thinking about the bloon dresses was, 'So - one teenage boy with a pin....' :)
Heather . . .
Thank you for the comment about old fashioned larders that you left on my blog.
Reading your post for today, I thought I would let you know about another blog I have (a very different one from SHOUTING AT THE RADIO
It is called
TIMES RHYMES
You might like to make a critique of the art work. (I shall hold my breath!)
It is a set of illustrated rhymes (like nursery rhymes) which are designed, primarily, to help little children learn their 'times tables' without noticing that is what they are doing.
I put a new illustration there each Monday.
Let me know what you think.
Best wishes
Susan
Those links are interesting!
and Tigger looks so artistic in that cool pose...
